Eclipsys Corp. is entering the community hospital market with a scaled-down version of its Sunrise Clinical Manager software. The new software can be implemented within 11-18 months--with a goal of less than a year--compared with 18-24 months for Clinical Manager, according to the vendor. Implementation costs are about 30% less.
