Cerner Corp. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 29, 2007. The company reported that fourth-quarter profits rose 5.5% on stronger revenue. The company reported earning $41.3 million, during the three-month period ended Dec. 29, compared with earning $39.2 million, during the same period a year ago. Revenue during the quarter rose almost 4% from $380.8 million to $394.5 million. For the full year, the company said it earned $127.1 million, compared with $109.9 million during 2006. Revenue for the year increased 10% from $1.38 billion to $1.52 billion. Looking ahead, the company said annual earnings are expected to grow 20% while revenues are expected to increase 10% to 12% over 2007.
