Deborah Herst - Vice President

 

Deborah’s strength is her ability to develop and fortify relationships with Senior Management teams of corporations and service organizations. Prior to joining Healthios, Deborah spearheaded Business Development for Advanced Resources, a premier staffing firm specializing in health care. Deborah forged alliances with corporations, providers and their executive teams to provide staffing and recruiting services. Having spent 10 years as Global Advertising Director, Healthcare, for a business publication, Deborah partnered with national leaders to develop marketing and communications programs. 

 

With a multitude of health care decisions influenced by technology, Deborah’s experience with Marimba, provider of desktop and server solutions, put her face-to-face with systems decision-makers at worldwide enterprises.

 

Her roots hail back to Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, where she served as liaison between physicians, unit heads and operations for the public relations department. 

 

Since 1980, Deborah has been hosting a television program on Chicago’s ABC affiliate, WLS-TV. She’s fortunate to have had the opportunity to interview international presidents and other political leaders, best-selling authors and celebrities.

 

As a graduate of Indiana University, English Literature and Journalism, Deborah also attended Cambridge University, England. She loves to travel, welcomes any opportunity to speak French, and when time permits, designs jewelry.
