Stephen Cervieri - Managing Director

Mr. Cervieri is Managing Director of Healthios.  His industry focus is cardiology including devices, diagnostics, drugs, and services. He works extensively on merger advisory and private placement transactions.

Mr. Cervieri joined Healthios in 2007.  His prior Wall Street experience includes positions at Goldman Sachs and Co., and then at Banc of America Securities. He has a broad range of industry experience beyond healthcare including work with domestic and international high tech, industrial, and real estate clients. Mr. Cervieri’s banking experience includes debt and equity transactions, private placements and merger advisory services on early stage and middle market transactions with a total deal value of approximately $2.0 billion.

In addition to his banking experience, Mr. Cervieri has had management roles and operating experience at several healthcare companies. Most recently, he worked as a Vice President of Strategy at Medline Industries, a $3 billion medical surgical manufacturing company. His focus at Medline was on developing business unit and sales operating strategies to improve the company’s competitive position through productivity improvement and cycle time reductions.  Mr. Cervieri led multiple transactions and projects, with direct responsibility for department re-organizations, IT application development, and sales strategy implementation for acute care and long term care customers. 

Prior to that, he was a Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at DLI, a web based media company. At DLI, he led the development of the firm’s pharmaceutical practice, with a particular emphasis on training and education programs for internal staff, and external customers and practitioners.

Mr. Cervieri is a graduate of Brown University (BA) and of Harvard University (MBA).
