Stentys S.A.S. announced that its board of directors has appointed Dr. Michael D. Lesh as a director, effective immediately. Stentys is developing the world's first next-generation drug-eluting stent for treatment of blocked coronary artery bifurcations so that hundreds of thousands of patients might avoid open-chest surgery. Since 2004, Dr. Lesh has served as chairman and CEO of Foster City.
