Cardinal Health Inc. announced that R. Kerry Clark, chairman and chief executive officer, plans to retire once the spin-off has been accomplished. He will be succeeded by George Barrett, 53, who currently serves as vice chairman and chief executive officer of the company's healthcare supply-chain services. The spun-off company will be led by David Schlotterbeck, who will assume the roles of chairman and chief executive of the newly formed entity. He now serves as Cardinal Health's vice chairman.
