Project Spartan involves a global diversified chemical conglomerate dedicated to the development of innovative products and services for the enhancement of daily life around the world. The Company developed a revolutionary science for the absorption of metabolic fluid arising from a series of different clinical complications. For 8 years, the Company has managed the progression of the science, successfully completing Phase I human trials in 2004. However, recognizing the challenges & complexities associated with establishing a business around its science, the company decided to separate the effort with independent management and investors. Healthios stepped in to design the clinical pathway, develop the business strategy, establish the financial model, recruit the management team, and assemble the advisory board. We planned and executed the independent financing strategy, yielding 2.5x the expected capital commitment at 2x the expected valuation. Healthios also managed the due diligence process, legal review, regulatory evaluation, and presided over the new Company's formation.
