Project Gold Rush

Project Gold Rush is a privately-held provider of surgical services, based in California. Founded in 1982, the Company has achieved meaningful scale and stable profitability through a single flagship facility. The Company was in the process of a 200% expansion of hospital facilities. However, an undeveloped management team and Board of Directors, unsophisticated financial model, diffused business strategy, absent acquisition process, and limited financing alternatives hampered the Company's development. Healthios stepped in to design, develop, and implement a focused, regionally oriented business strategy predicated upon high-growth metropolitan service segments. We nurtured the Company's sales, development and acquisition initiatives, restructured their financial model, and designed a two-tiered capital structure. Healthios nominated the Company's President and COO, designated three new Directors from the industry, and developed and negotiated a partnership with a leading strategic party . The transaction value of the Company was at a 170% increase from the original April 2002 valuation.
