Amy Shulman - Principal



Amy Shulman brings a wealth of strategic, general management and consulting experience. Her functional experience extends to all areas of operating a business, with particular expertise in developing and implementing brand positioning, brand strategy and new product development. She has developed and launched numerous consumer goods, multi-location retail and service enterprises. 

Prior to Healthios , Ms. Shulman was a Vice President of Marketing at Bally Total Fitness. She was responsible for developing and executing all non-membership marketing plans in over 400 locations (e.g. Bally Retail store, Personal Training). Additionally, she leveraged Bally’s member base to develop, launch and manage new product and service businesses (Bally branded nutritional supplements, Weight Loss programs). Under her leadership the businesses generated $290 million in sales and drove Bally’s growth for 5 years.;
 
Prior to Bally, Ms. Shulman worked at Kraft Foods, where she managed several brands each generating several hundred million in sales. She developed the brand vision, growth strategies, and annual plans. She had full P&L responsibility, leading all functional areas including sales, marketing, operations and finance. Her businesses generally achieved Trifecta performance (year over year growth in share, volume and earnings). Prior to Kraft Foods, Ms. Shulman worked for Accenture as a consulting leader for design and implementation of PC/mainframe software products.;
 
She conducted management interviews and developed design specifications for accounts payable systems; performed detailed analysis of business information needs required to customize client's financial reporting systems; developed documentation and conducted user training seminars for newly developed software applications. Amy Shulman is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Computer Science. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
