InfoLogix Inc., which sells mobile carts and radio frequency identification technologies, has purchased a second consulting firm. The company has acquired substantially all the assets of Delta Health Systems Inc., a privately held cost management consulting firm based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Terms will be released May 7 in an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.Last October, InfoLogix acquired Healthcare Informatics Associates Inc., a Bainbridge Island, Wash.-based health care I.T. consulting firm. Delta Health Systems also sells an on-demand management reporting system that offers continuous monitoring of cost management performance metrics, including insight on specific operational targets such as cost and quality. The company's clients include Baylor Health Care System, OhioHealth and Valley Baptist Health System. The acquisition will give InfoLogix direct access to health care CEOs and COOs, which will complement its existing relationships with CIOs and other technology executives, company executives say.
