Roche Holding AG announced resignation of Franz Humer as chief executive. Humer, 61, led Roche's drive to develop a leading line of cancer drugs. As he handed over his duties to Severin Schwan, formerly head of Roche's diagnostics unit, the company has the richest valuation of any large European pharmaceutical business and the most promising portfolio of new drugs.
