Fresenius SE is in talks to acquire Sorin's Renal Care unit, Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing no sources. The paper added that Fresenius is consulted by investment bank Societe Generale in the talks, while Sorin is advised by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Financial Times also reported that talks could take longer as Sorin's chief executive Andre-Michel Ballester previously said the company will decide on the future of the unit in the second half of the year.
