In healthcare services, the firm invests in growth equity financings, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, corporate divestitures or spinouts. It targets healthcare providers that include senior care, specialty facilities, ancillary and alternate site services, home care, and specialty distribution, healthcare focused business services, and outsourcing that includes pharmaceutical services, healthcare staffing, revenue cycle management, disease management, and transaction and claim processing. The firm seeks to invest in companies located in the United States. It invests between $2 million and $6 million, depending on the maturity of the company. The firm structures its investments as preferred stock. It was formerly known as Piper Jaffray Ventures. Sightline Partners was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota with an additional office in Palo Alto, California.
