Neose Technologies Inc. announced that on March 12, 2008, it has entered into a Commercial Insurance Premium Finance and Security Agreement with Cananwill Inc. to finance the insurance policy premiums due on certain insurance policies of the Company. The amount financed under the Finance Agreement is $370,622.96 and, pursuant to its terms, the Company is required to make a payment of $34,391.04 during each of the 11 months beginning on March 15, 2008 and ending on January 15, 2009.

As a result, Neose no longer meets NASDAQ’s continued listing criteria and has 180 calendar days, or until August 18, 2008, to regain compliance.

Fresenius Medical Care

Fresenius Medical Care AG (FMC) said fourth-quarter net income rose 30% to $197 million, slightly ahead of consensus estimates. Quarterly revenue grew 9% to $2.569 billion, also slightly above analysts' expectations, which were for $2.533 billion according to the survey. Chief Executive Officer Ulf Schneider said that Fresenius SE is also eyeing acquisitions for up to $441 million.
